Detailed Status Descriptions
The Architect has started filling Form 1 but has not yet submitted it. The application exists in the system but has not entered the workflow. No challan has been generated yet.
Form 1 has been submitted successfully. A challan has been generated with a unique challan number and the calculated fee. The Architect must pay the challan before the application can proceed.
The challan has been paid. A payment receipt has been generated and emailed to the Architect and project owner. The application is ready to be formally submitted to the DEO.
The Architect has submitted the application to the DEO with a mandatory comment. The application is now in the DEO's Pending Review queue. The Architect cannot make any changes at this stage.
The DEO has found issues with the application and returned it to the Architect with a shortfall notice. The Architect must read the DEO's comment, address the issues, enter a response comment, optionally upload additional documents, and re-submit.
The DEO has reviewed and forwarded the application to the BOCW officer. The application is now in the BOCW's Pending Review queue. The Architect cannot make changes.
The BOCW officer has found issues and returned the application to the Architect. The Architect must respond to the BOCW's comment and re-submit. The application returns to the BOCW (not the DEO) after re-submission.
The BOCW officer has forwarded the application to the LEO. The LEO reviews the application and can only forward it to the RDC — they cannot send a shortfall. The Architect cannot make changes.
The LEO has forwarded the application to the RDC for final approval. The RDC is the highest authority in the workflow. They review the complete application and either approve it (issuing the certificate) or may request further information through other channels.
The RDC has granted final approval. The Registration Certificate under the BOCW Act has been issued. The Architect can download the certificate from their dashboard. The application workflow is complete.
